Director Department of Fisheries William Naviti releases 300 tilapia ‘fingerlings’ into the PENAMA Nursery fish pond as part of the Department’s contribution to revive the operation of the nursery/multiplication plot/small livestock hatchery unit.
PENAMA Nursery is the distribution hub where tilapia fish will be distributed to any interested individual who wishes to farm tilapia fish with in the province.
Acknowledged the support rendered by Vanuatu Skills Partnership to realise this project, which now diversify from vegetables to also include hatching chicken and duck eggs, rearing chickens, ducks, fish, pigs and will supply market in cases where there is surplus.
